for Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre

• The client agrees that, in admitting their dog, Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre has relied on the client’s representation that their dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour towards any person or any other dog. If your dog is showing signs of being unwell, please contact the centre as soon as possible and keep your dog at home until the symptoms pass.

• The client agrees that, in admitting their dog, Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre has relied on the client’s representation that their dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour towards any person or any other dog. If your dog is showing signs of being unwell, please contact the centre as soon as possible and keep your dog at home until the symptoms pass.
• All dogs will be subject to an initial assessment by Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre staff prior to attending the day care centre for the first time. Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre reserves the right to refuse admission to any dog deemed, in their absolute discretion, to be or to have the potential to be dangerous or disruptive.
  
  These behaviours include:
  A. Excessive barking.
  b. Resource guarding
  c. Any aggressive behaviour towards staff or dogs
  d. Excessive stress related behaviours:
  •  Drooling
  • Crying/Whining/ Howling
  • Pacing
  • Other abnormal repetitive behaviour
• Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre reserves the right to segregate initially, or at any subsequent time, any dog which appears nervous, frightened or otherwise uncomfortable in the presence of other dogs. Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre will notify the client in such an event and discuss options for future day care sessions.
• The client agrees to notify Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre immediately of any unwelcome aggressive, procreative or dangerous behaviour by their dog that has potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual. We reserve the right to immediately dismiss any dog if they present these behaviours.
• Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre is a place where dogs co-mingle in groups and the client accepts that during the course of normal dog play their dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is carefully monitored at Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre to avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments or other minor injuries could occur despite the best supervision. The client accepts that pads on paws may initially become sensitive or sore until the dog becomes accustomed to the different surfaces and that their nails may become worn down whilst playing on the outside tarmac area.
• The client authorises the staff of Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre to seek such vet advice and / or treatment they deem necessary; the client accepts that the staff at Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre will use Crown Vets, Inverness and give full consent to Crown Vets, Inverness to treat their dog.
• Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre reserves the right to refuse admission if the client fails to provide adequate proof of vaccinations (Including Bordetella), or vaccinations are found to be expired or otherwise incomplete. We require an up to date copy of your vaccination certificate EVERY time your dog receives their boosters.8. The client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated
• The client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is a chance that their dog can still contract a variant of Kennel Cough. The client agrees that they will not hold Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre responsible if their dog contracts Kennel Cough while attending Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre.
• The client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious, or otherwise communicable diseases. The client further agrees to notify Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre immediately of any infections and/or contagious disease or conditions that their dog has been exposed to or is affected by, such diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to: Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Corona virus, worms, Lyme disease, fleas, pregnancy, infectious skin diseases and intestinal parasites. Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfied that the condition is resolved.
• Playful paws try to have a moderate barking pack. If a dog barks constantly and no any solution works, we are free to use a dog friendly collar to see if that works. We absolutely use NO collars with electric shocks. Our collar gives a beep and vibrates. We only use this after more than several other attempts.
• The client agrees to Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre using distraction and redirection to correct your dog’s behaviour should it be undesirable, i.e. barking and bullying
• The client agrees to ensure their dog has eaten 2 hours before arrival at Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre to ensure sufficient time to digest food before any exercise or play. Failure to do so may result in the potentially life-threatening condition Bloat (Gastric torsion).
• All dogs must be either spayed or neutered to attend Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre at least 6 months of age. This is part of our licence requirements and is unfortunately non-negotiable. We can however accept entire males if they have received the male implant chip or injection (please consult your vet regarding this).
• Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre holds insurance for Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Employers Liability and Care Custody and Control of Dogs, which cover each dog whilst at Playful Paws Dog Day Care Centre. A full copy of our insurance can be viewed at any time.
• Please note that as part of our licence requirements we require a strict dog to staff ratio and as such require 12hrs notice for booking, as well as for cancellation. Otherwise, at Playful Paws Dog Daycare Centre’s discretion, dogs may not be accepted into the daycare at short notice. In the event of cancellation with less than 12hrs notice, Playful Paws Dog Daycare reserves the right to charge the full rate.
• By signing this day care form, I also give consent to post photos of my dog on social media.
